DESCRIPTION:Any company that works with scaffolding is required to have a competent person trained in the erection\, placement and maintenance of scaffolding. This includes employees\, supervisors\, foreman or anyone who erects or oversees the use of scaffolds. \n\nThe CPT program for scaffolding was developed by the Scaffold Industry Association (SIA) to provided participants with the proper training and credentials to be a competent person on the jobsite. A certificate of completion and wallet card will be issued by the SIA to those who successfully complete the course.\n\nTopics to be covered: \n• Competent Person Training for frame scaffolds up to four frames high\n• Types of Access Scaffolds\n• Access Methods\n• Standards and Regulations\n• Foundation Requirements\n• Platforms and Platform Materials\n• Erecting  and Dismantling Procedures\n• Personal Protection Equipment\n• Scaffold User Tools\n\nInstructor: Jamie Prior\, American Ladders & Scaffolds\, Glastonbury CT\n\nPlease register by Jan. 27th- Space limited to first 20 registrants
